🔥Limited Launch Offer — $2,899 starting price for the First 25 Builds.
Once these 25 instruments are spoken for, the HyperNova V2.0 returns to its regular street price.
Here’s a clearer picture of what actually goes into the HyperNova V2.0, from start to finish.
All construction uses solid wood — not veneers, not laminates.
The body uses firsts and seconds wenge, padauk, and purpleheart — furniture-grade hardwoods commonly reserved for high-end custom furniture and fine cabinetry — selected specifically for stability, density, and intentional visual character. The wenge is flat-sawn by design — not quarter-sawn.
The bird’s-eye maple is sap-to-face with medium-to-heavy figure, sourced from a mill that buys logs and cuts in-house, rather than brokered lumber. Every blank is individually selected, not batch-pulled.
Where traditional woodworking adhesives are appropriate for serviceability, they are used. Where higher performance is required, this instrument incorporates advanced structural bonding systems derived from high-stress applications such as aerospace and marine offshore racing, selected for long-term stability and fatigue resistance, and engineered specifically to work with the natural movement of the wood species used.
Hardware and electronics are purchased at true small-builder pricing — no bulk discounts, no shortcuts.
Each instrument involves 30+ hours of hands-on work, excluding CNC time, followed by a professional, high-end luthier setup. This level of hands-on time remains even after the build process has been refined and optimized by a senior manufacturing professional with experience in engineer-to-order and prototype military and automotive environments. Reducing hands-on hours beyond this point would require compromising quality, and that threshold will never be crossed.
The finish is a heavily researched, proprietary system developed by Ghost Lab Acoustics™, known as the Aeon System, engineered for long-term durability and stability, and built to last centuries, not years.
Beyond the visible elements, every single component on this instrument has been researched, tested, and selected with intent.
Even components most people never think about — such as the strap-lock washer — were analyzed and evaluated. After research and testing, white EPDM, at a specific diameter and thickness, was selected as the optimal solution for long-term durability, compression behavior, chemical stability, and mechanical interface performance, including stain resistance.
In tactful locations, high-grade threaded inserts commonly used in premium furniture and precision assemblies are employed to ensure repeatable torque, long-term serviceability, and resistance to wear over time.
This same level of scrutiny applies to every nut, bolt, fastener, pilot hole diameter, and interface point. Nothing is assumed, and nothing is arbitrary. Each choice was evaluated against the long-term goals of stability, serviceability, and longevity.
